2011 - 2012 Patient safety report released

South Australians can now access the latest patient safety information about SA’s public health system, following the publication of the South Australian Patient Safety Report 2011-12.

The report includes serious incidents, known as ‘sentinel events’, which all public hospitals across Australia are required to report on each year.

Of the approximately two million services provided in SA’s public hospitals each year, there were 21 sentinel events reported in 2011-12.
